What is the calculation method of the sentence of deprivation of political rights

Where a regulation is imposed for additional deprivation of political rights, the period of deprivation of political rights is equal to the period of control, which starts at the same time and is enforced simultaneously. At the end of the regulatory period, political rights were restored at the same time.

If a sentence of fixed-term imprisonment is attached to the deprivation of political rights, the period of deprivation of political rights shall be calculated from the date of imprisonment and completion of the detention or from the date of parole. However, the effect of deprivation of political rights is of course applied during the execution of the principal sentence. In other words, although the execution period of the main sentence is not included in the period of deprivation of political rights, criminals do not enjoy political rights. If sentenced to imprisonment and detention without additional political deprivation, criminals enjoy political rights while serving the principal sentence. They are allowed to exercise their right to vote, but the exercise of other political rights is restricted.

Of Where a death sentence is imposed (including a suspended death sentence) or life imprisonment plus the deprivation of political rights for life, the sentence shall be calculated from the date of the legal effect of the judgment.
